Manuel Burgoin
Hi, I’m Manuel Burgoin, your resident Cabo Wedding Photographer. I am established in Cabo San Lucas and travel throughout Mexico to personally photograph destination weddings in Playa del Carmen, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta. I am available for wedding photography throughout Mexico and internationally. Destination weddings are an amazing opportunity to make your special event an extraordinary adventure. Every destination wedding that I have been a part of has been unique and magical and I believe that there really is no better destination than Mexico!
So let me discuss a little about what I do and how I do it!
I am truly passionate about my photography and I am committed to capturing all the unique memories of your wedding day, in their best light of course! I use my artistic focus to tell the story of your wedding day in the most beautiful way possible.
I only use digital, because the advantages and versatility that digital equipment offers are far more advanced than the old system. My studio Weddings in Los Cabos is in town, which you are welcome to visit before your wedding to discuss the details of your big day.
Prior to the wedding, we will discuss and agree on the style of photography. It is also helpful to have an engagement session so we can interact, and I can evaluate your best angles.
On the day of your wedding, I will arrive at the site a couple of hours before the bride does, and before preparations start so I can scope out the best photographic settings. In addition to the wedding and photo session, we will shoot the individual “getting ready” process of both the bride and groom. Before and after the dress is on, when the bride’s make-up is fresh.
Remember to plan sufficient time for your photo session, even the best photographer will not capture wonderful photos in 5 minutes. The best time of day for your photo session is late afternoon to sunset, so you should try to plan the wedding at least 1.5 hours before sunset, to allow enough time for pictures with the best light. Lastly, have fun, enjoy your day, smile a lot and relax!

I consider my photography equipment one of the most important aspects to be able to capture a great shot, besides you always need the most reliable equipment.
I recently acquired the newest Canon Camera in the market, the one in the photo at the top, and after using it I realized how important it is to be updating your equipment, I won’t give you a lot of boring details about this beauty, but I can say these few things; faster focusing, higher resolution, greater color spectrum and an incredible improvement on the ISO for low light conditions.

Now I’d like you to meet Gabriela Moreno Mohar. She works in the studio; on photo retouching and design, and is also a very talented photographer. She is a a very warm hearted, enthusiastic person who is always helping out whenever she can (that’s probably one of the reasons she is such a great mom!). Gabby is a great addition at Weddings in Los Cabos, plus she has a beautiful smile don’t you think?! And if she’s not smiling all you have to do is make her a hot cup of coffee!

Introducing Joan Hilario Meza Murillo. He may look a little serious here, but he is fantastic at what he does. Joan works at my studio, Weddings in Los Cabos, creating beautiful designs for wedding albums, and really bringing photos to life. I don’t think things would run quite as smoothly if we didn’t have his expertise.
